Web Page overhaul idea and design

This is a layout for our schools radio station's web page. The idea behind this was to increase the sites usability and to optimize the site so it would put a picture image to the image the radio was looking for.
To increase the usability I created and suggested tabs and allowing the bread crumb feature to let users know where they are and where they have been. Also, this allows the page to be better organized and gives it a much cleaner and professional look.
Next, being the schools radio station and needing sponsors and advertising we had to get traffic to the site so we could not only sell them on air time but also, being seen on the site. Well this would mean we needed to optimize the site and run analytics on it so we could present facts and numbers to possible clients to get them to see the benefits of using X-106 to advertise. The idea was to optimize all tags and headers to get fully optimized and be SEO savvy.
Unfortunately, we have yet to implement a lot of what I have describe. However, we did get along ways in getting a image from the air to the internet so we could move further down the road. We did get Google Analytics in place and have been running it since late last year.
I was the webmaster for one semester and unfortunately not everything could be completed in one semester in trying to get the station up and online and also streaming live. We had a few other hurdles to go over before we could get down the the grind of really taking the site to the next level. I have full faith it will be there soon. Check them out at www.kzlxfm.com!
